TORPEY WHITE, CPA, CISA, is Director in our Management Consulting Services Division. He specializes in using data analysis software to analyze financial and operational data for accuracy, unusual variances and potential misuse of assets. Torpey has 20 years of experience in both public accounting and private industry performing financial, operational and business process audits, information systems reviews, fraud investigations, software training and support and day to day accounting activities. He is also involved in the firm’s SAS 70 engagements.
Torpey performs reviews of computer systems to assess internal controls, data analysis
to identify trends, increase efficiencies and detect potential defalcations, operational
and business process audits through our outsourced internal audit function and reimplementation
review of software installations. He has worked in various industries including: utilities, automobile dealers and auctions, horseracing, healthcare, not-for-profit and light manufacturing.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Institute of Internal Auditors, the Information Systems Audit and Control Association, and PKF North American Network.
Torpey is a graduate of LaSalle University, with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance.
