Job Description - A&A Seniors and Supervisors: Goldenberg Rosenthal is currently seeking Seniors-in-Charge and Supervisors with 4 plus years recent public accounting experience for our Accounting & Auditing Department. Candidates should be CPAs. Qualified individuals should have general A & A background and experience in one or more of these niche areas is a plus: Real Estate/Construction, Automotive, Manufacturing/Distribution and/or Not-for-Profit (especially A-133 auditing) along with the related tax experience. Strong communication and computer skills are essential. Travel (mostly local/regional; some overnight/out-of-town) is required because a majority of our work is performed at our clients' locations.
Job Description - Tax Department Seniors: Seeking candidates for the position of Tax Senior. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to,:
- All aspects of income tax return preparation.
- Direct client involvement.
- Researching tax questions.
Qualifications: The qualified candidate will be experienced preparing individual and business tax returns. Candidates should be CPAs or CPA candidates. Two plus years recent public accounting experience is helpful. Strong speaking and writing skills as well as computer capabilities are essential.
Job Description - Tax Department Supervisors: Seeking candidates for the position of Tax Supervisor. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Direct client involvement.
- Researching complex tax questions.
- Identifying client service needs and tax planning ideas to minimize tax liability.
- Representing clients before taxing bodies.
- Attending functions and events that promote the firm with clients, potential clients and peers.
- All aspects of income tax reporting.
Qualifications: The qualified candidate will possess strong tax knowledge and be qualified to review tax returns. CPA a must; MST a plus. Five plus years’ recent public accounting tax department experience is required. Must be an excellent communicator with very strong analytical skills and experience in successfully supervising professional staff.
